Volunteering – Introduction
Volunteers make a vital contribution to Glasgow Museums. We encourage, develop and support volunteer involvement in our services.
Glasgow Museums offers a number of volunteering opportunities. And we are always looking for people to join our pool of volunteers who come in to help us out on an ad hoc basis.
Volunteers bring new skills and perspectives to Glasgow Museums and can undertake activities that would not otherwise be carried out. Full training and support is provided.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer any new volunteer or placement opportunities.
If you would like to be considered for volunteering opportunities in the future, please complete the volunteer application form – follow the link on the right hand side of this page.
Your application will be kept on file. We will keep you informed of any opportunities that become available by sending you our Volunteer Bulletin.
Your email address can be added to the distribution list for the Bulletin so that it will be sent to you automatically. If you prefer not to have your email address added to the list, then please add a note stating this next to your email address on your application form.
You can withdraw your application at any time, and we will remove your details from our files.
