Friends of Glasgow Museums (FoGM) supports Glasgow Museums and fosters interest in the arts in Glasgow.
Friends of Glasgow Museums has been in existence for over 60 years. Through our membership and fund-raising activities, we contribute many thousands of pounds each year to Glasgow Museums to buy and/or restore works of art.
We feel that being a member of the Friends is a wonderfully satisfying activity. Not only do we have the enjoyment of being involved with like-minded people, but through our excursions, trips and lecture series, our members keep up with events in the art world as well as knowing they are contributing to it in a positive way.
As well as participating in our excursions and lectures series, member receive a ten per cent discount in all of Glasgow Museums’ shops, and Preview, the magazine of Glasgow Museums.
The Camphill Fund
The Camphill Fund was established in 1984 to promote Glasgow Museums’ costume and textiles collection. The Fund takes its name from Camphill House, an eighteenth-century house on the south side of Glasgow where the collection was formerly housed. Find out more about the Camphill Fund.
You can find our contact details on our Contact Us page, or complete the online form on our Joining Us page.
Friends is a recognised Scottish Charity SCO 08995.
