Preview is the magazine of Glasgow Museums. It is free from our museums across the city, and aims to inform a Scottish and international readership of the news, exhibitions and events in Glasgow City Council's museums and galleries. The City has an internationally recognised collection that attracts around three million visitors a year to its museums and galleries.

This study traces the roots of the Open Museum, to establish the principles and ethos that have shaped its development and the impact it has had on those individuals with which it has engaged.
