Main entrance
The main entrance to St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art is from the pavement on Castle Street. There is a ramp for wheelchair users and visitors who cannot use the three steps which lead to the door.

Reception
The reception desk is on the first floor. Stairs and lift to the first floor are on the right hand side when entering from Castle Street.

Alternative languages
An introductory leaflet in a number of European and community languages is available from reception. Displays have text in Urdu, Gaelic, Punjabi and Chinese.

Large print
Large print versions of our Visit Glasgow Museums leaflet are available from reception.

Parking
Pay and display parking is available in the car park on Castle Street.

Disabled parking
Disabled parking is available in the car park on Castle Street.

Wheelchair access
St Mungo Museum is wheelchair accessible. Two wheelchairs are kept in the accessible toilet on the ground floor for visitor use. The accessible toilet is to the left of the main entrance from Castle Street.

Lifts
Lifts are available to all levels and are located to the right of the main entrance from Castle Street. Call buttons are on the left hand side of lifts on each floor. Internal call buttons are on the right hand side.

Toilets
Male and female toilets are in the basement. Lift and stairs to the basement are located on the right hand side of the main entrance from Castle Street.

Accessible toilet
The accessible toilet is located on the ground floor, on the left of the main entrance from Castle Street.

Café
The café is located on the ground floor, to the left of the main entrance from Castle Street. Highchairs are available.

Object handling
Some objects are available for handling in the education space. Objects that can be handled are identified by images of hands. Please contact a member of staff for more information, or telephone the museum on 0141 553 2557.

British Sign Language
Some staff at St Mungo Museum have been trained in the use of basic British Sign Language. Please enquire at reception.

First aid
There is a first aid point available at the reception desk on the first floor. Stairs and lift access to the first floor is on the right hand side when entering from Castle Street.

Shop
The shop is to the right when you enter from Castle Street.

Baby change
Baby change facilities are available in the accessible toilet on the ground floor.

Breastfeeding
A private area for breastfeeding is available in the ladies changing room on the first floor. Find out more about breastfeeding in Scotland: www.breastfeed.scot.nhs.uk/.

Baby feeding
Hot water is available from the restaurant for heating milk and food for babies and young children.

Guided tours
Guided tours can be booked by telephoning the museum on 0141 553 2557.

Guide and assistance dogs
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at St Mungo Museum.

Personal luggage and hand luggage
Left luggage facilities may be available on an informal basis, but this is dependent on circumstances. Please telephone the museum before your visit: 0141 553 2557.

Prams and buggies
There are no restrictions on prams and buggies at St Mungo Museum, and the museum is fully access to prams and buggies.

Photography/drawing/video recording
A form to request permission to draw, photograph and make video recordings in Glasgow Museums stores and galleries for personal use is available from all our museums and must be completed before undertaking any of the above. Photography, without the use of tripods, is usually permitted. But due to the sensitive nature of many of our exhibits, and the possible damaging effects of flash photography, permission must be sought before hand.
